Personnel Resources is seeking a detail-oriented mechanical Drafter/ Engineer with strong CAD experience to support the Engineering Department for a manufacturing facility. This role involves creating precise technical drawings and collaborating with engineers to ensure accurate project design and documentation.
Pay: $55k per year plus monthly production bonus
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software
- Develop rough sketches for design concepts
- Prepare and organize technical documentation
- Calculate material requirements per specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and architects for accuracy
- Maintain standardized drafting procedures
- Identify and resolve design issues
- Produce drawings based on engineering calculations and specifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering or drafting experience (required)
- Proficiency in MS Excel as well as CAD or 3D modeling software
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
