This role involves collaborating with drafters, designers, and operations personnel to prepare specifications and detailed drawings for the construction and maintenance of high voltage transmission facilities, supporting engineers and designers with design deliverables.
- Sound judgment is essential for creating critical schematic drawings to guide line crews on project work.
- Approximately 5% of the time is spent in the field, with 95% in the office communicating via email and phone, attending meetings, performing calculations, and reviewing plans and drawings.
- The position entails a 40-hour workweek with potential overtime as needed.
