Draftsman – Full Time Onsite (Salary DOE)

Position Overview

The Draftsman will work closely with the General Manager and Production Managers in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This role is ideal for a candidate who is organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SOLIDWORKS
• Interpret sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions to produce accurate 3D models
• Generate and understand process-flow diagrams and other technical drawings
• Perform thorough self-checks to ensure accuracy before supervisory review
• Apply engineering markups and make necessary drawing corrections
• Work closely with leadership and production teams to support design needs
• Maintain organized documentation and manage time effectively

Requirements

• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
• Ability to produce accurate models from sketches and verbal descriptions with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail with strong self-review skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• 2+ years of drafting or design experience, or completion of a drafting/design degree or technical program with relevant internship experience
• Shop or production floor experience is a plus
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and time-management skills
