Creates detailed model and construction drawings for homes based on provided models, adhering to national standards.
Performs calculations and analysis to support design processes.
Uses CAD software (AutoCAD 2019 or higher) to develop drawings for walls, roofs, floors, plumbing, electrical, gas lines, foundations, and other systems.
Drafts and manages approvals for third-party agencies, ensuring compliance with building codes (HUD, residential, commercial).
Collaborates with managers and departments to resolve design issues and modify home layouts.
Utilizes knowledge of engineering practices, materials, and sciences to produce accurate drawings.
Generates calculations for design analysis using approved software.
Manages multiple priorities and adapts to changing needs.
Requires an associate’s degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 365, and ability to work independently.
