Drainage Engineer - EI. Transportation division.

Searching for a full-time EI level engineer with 1–4 years of experience to join their Drainage Department.
Responsibilities
- Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of conveyance systems
- Analysis and design of cross drains
- Design of stormwater management facilities
- Floodplain compensation analysis
- Design and inspection of best management practices for erosion and sediment control
- Prepare technical documents including drainage reports, pond siting reports, and permitting documents
- Prepare construction plans consistent with FDOT standards
- Stormwater permitting with various statewide agencies
- Coordination with other disciplines and meetings with clients
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 0-4 years of experience in highway drainage design and plans production
- Registered EI
- Knowledge of FDOT design standards and criteria
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, ICPR, PONDS ASAD software
- Knowledge of ERP permitting requirements with water management districts throughout the state a plus
- Bridge hydraulics and scour analyses experience are a plus
