As our DRAM Design Validation Engineer, you will be ensuring the successful integration of DRAM memories with SoC devices.DescriptionWork with our design, verification and integration engineers to ensure memory controller and PHY requirements are well defined and cover the scope of DRAM based corner cases. Collaborate with Architecture, MCU, DDRPHY and DRAM vendors for Apple's main memory feature. Ensure DRAM simulation meets Apple''s requirements. Ensure the internal and external DRAM silicon and package level testing needs are met. Debug RMA material with apparent DRAM related defects.Minimum QualificationsMS or BS Degree with 4+ years in DRAM developmentPreferred QualificationsExpert in DRAM cell architecturesExpert of DRAM memory organization and periphery design for low DRAM powerExpertise in DRAM simulationExperience in memory interface verification with understanding DDR-PHY and Memory ControllerExperience in LPDDR IO (DDR/DDR2/DDR3/DDR4/DDR5) characterization and qualificationUnderstanding of memory test patternsKnowledge of DRAM reliabilityKnowledge with innovative packaging technology (POP, TSV, etc.) and their relationship to DRAM signal/power integrityPrevious experience in Failure Analysis of DRAM devicesExcellent hardware and software debug skillExperience working with the major DRAM vendorsStrong background in computer architectureProgramming experience in C/C++Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
