Job Summary:We are seeking a DRAM Firmware/Integration Engineer to develop, validate, and integrate DRAM solutions for SSD firmware platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with DRAM architecture, DDR4/DDR5 technologies, firmware development, memory validation, and debugging. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance and reliable memory subsystem solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, validate, and integrate DRAM drivers for SSD firmware platforms.
- Configure and validate DRAM PHY, ECC, DDR4, and DDR5 functionality.
- Develop and validate DRAM initialization, training, power states, and refresh policies.
- Configure and validate DDR4/DDR5 mode registers.
- Develop test procedures, tools, and automation for DRAM validation and debugging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DRAM-related hardware and firmware issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams to support product development.
- Document technical requirements, schedules, and validation results.
Must-have Skills:- 3+ years of experience in DRAM firmware, integration, or validation engineering.
- Strong understanding of DRAM architecture, operation, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with DDR4 and DDR5 technologies.
- Experience with DRAM PHY configuration and validation.
- Knowledge of DRAM ECC implementation and debugging.
- Proficiency with memory testing tools and validation methodologies.
- Understanding of signal integrity and high-speed interface fundamentals.
- Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and project coordination skills.
Education:- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Nice-to-have Skills:- SSD controller or storage firmware experience.
- Experience with automated validation frameworks and test development.
- Knowledge of memory subsystem performance optimization.
- Leadership experience guiding cross-functional debug and integration efforts.
