    InterAtlas consists of InterAtlas Chemical Inc., InterAtlas Logistics Inc., and InterAtlas Kimya A.S. We are headquartered in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada, with our drayage and warehouse operations in Newark, NJ and freight forwarding operations in Istanbul, Turkey. As a group, we source chemical raw materials from vendors across the globe and transport them to our warehouses, and on to our North American based clients.     ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Drayage Administrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining our quality of service by providing administrative support to our dispatch and drayage team. Communication with colleagues and clients is extremely critical in this role, as it ensures the smooth flow of information, prompt resolution of issues, and alignment across all stakeholders.

    We are seeking a highly organized and well time-managed professional to support our dispatch and drayage team with collecting and entering data within software systems, while identifying discrepancies and providing insight to the team. The ideal candidate is the type of person that dislikes coloring outside of the lines, can confidently suggest ways to become more effective, and wants to collaborate with the team.


    HOW YOU WILL MAKE DIFFERENCE

    • Keep drayage operations moving: Provide dependable administrative support to the dispatch and drayage team, ensuring shipment information is accurate, complete, and available when needed.
    • Turn customer requirements into clear operational information: Review shipping instructions, customer data, and service requirements so the team can plan and execute each shipment effectively.
    • Catch discrepancies before they create delays: Identify missing information, conflicting instructions, and data errors; work with colleagues and customers to resolve issues promptly.
    • Maintain reliable shipment records: Collect, enter, and update data in our software systems with close attention to detail, supporting informed decisions and consistent customer service.
    • Keep colleagues and customers aligned: Communicate updates clearly and promptly, follow up on outstanding information, and ensure questions and concerns reach the right people.
    • Build customer confidence: Deliver timely, accurate support and take ownership of requests through to resolution, strengthening relationships through dependable follow-through.
    • Improve how the team works: Identify recurring issues, recommend practical improvements, and collaborate with colleagues to streamline administrative processes and reduce errors.


    QUALIFIACATIONS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US

    • At least 5 years of experience in Drayage Administration, or similar
    • Excellent verbal and written communications
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment
    • Experience with PortPro or similar TMS
    • Skilled in Microsoft Excel applications
    • Exceptionally detail oriented
    • Ability to mange time effectively
