About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and helping customers with drayage, international, intermodal, domestic, and related transportation needs.This is a customer-facing position, so the right person needs to be comfortable prospecting, following up, quoting freight, managing accounts, and working with operations to make sure customers are taken care of.
What You’ll Be Doing- Develop new business with shippers, importers, exporters, and logistics customers
- Manage and grow customer relationships
- Sell and support drayage, intermodal, international, domestic, and related freight services
- Understand customer shipping needs and provide practical logistics solutions
- Quote freight, prepare service options, and follow up with customers
- Work with operations and support teams to help keep freight moving
- Keep customer activity, pipeline updates, and notes current in the system
What We’re Looking For- Logistics sales or account management experience
- Experience with drayage, intermodal, container freight, international freight, or domestic transportation
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to build relationships and manage customer needs
- Confidence discussing pricing, service expectations, and freight solutions
- Good organization and CRM discipline
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
