Dries Mixer - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY

The Dries Mixer will work in our processing department and is responsible for preparation of spice blends for future kitchen production.  The starting rate for this position is $24.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Ability to read product formulas and correctly identify raw materials
• Identify and record raw material lot numbers for food safety purposes
• Load and operate ribbon blenders in a safe and efficient manner
• Fill finished dries containers and accurately label for inventory storage
• Practice Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in compliance with SQF Level 3
• Work overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned

 Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
