About the Driver and Transport Assistant Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver and Transport Assistant to join our team. As a Driver and Transport Assistant, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, as well as providing support with transfers and ambulation. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Driver and Transport Assistant Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, including medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social events

• Assist with transfers and ambulation, as needed

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff

• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and resident medical information

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address resident needs

• Participate in in-service training and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge

• CNA certification is a plus, but not required

Driver and Transport Assistant Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, as needed

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
