Driver

Position Overview:

The On-Call Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of documents, contracts, and other materials related to title and escrow transactions on an as-needed basis. This position provides flexible support to ensure critical business needs are met during periods of increased volume, team member absences, or special projects. The On-Call Delivery Driver handles sensitive documents with care, maintains professionalism in all interactions, and supports operational efficiency through dependable service. The core delivery and document-handling responsibilities align with the Delivery Specialist role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver documents related to title and escrow transactions, including loan packages, title commitments, commission checks, and listing materials.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and secure handling of all documents during transport.
• Maintain efficient delivery routes and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Interact professionally with clients, lenders, and internal team members.
• Exchange personal checks for cashier's checks at banks and credit unions as needed.
• Provide operational support to the team, including assisting with office supply runs and miscellaneous tasks.
• Serve as backup support for front desk or administrative duties when needed.
• Maintain records of company vehicle maintenance, including repairs, oil changes, and upkeep.
• Support overall team operations to ensure strong customer service and satisfaction.
• Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
• Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of team members, leadership, customers, and external partners.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass required drug screening.
• Strong knowledge of local routes and geographic delivery area.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to problem-solve and work effectively under pressure.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior delivery, courier, or customer service experience.
• Experience working in a title, escrow, or real estate environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described herein are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. The role requires frequent driving and travel between offices and client locations. The employee is regularly required to sit, communicate, and operate a vehicle. Occasional standing and walking are required. The position frequently requires lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Close vision is required for document handling.
