Working at Arizona Tile isn't just another job, it's a family!! Our Commitment....At our Company we are Committed to Supporting our Employees in providing an outstanding experience for our customers and by providing an environment that values hard work and dedication. What We Offer.....Safety 1st OrganizationCompetitive payBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, & More!H.S.A or H.R.A with Company Contributions401k Retirement Savings Program with discretionary employer matchProgressive career development and trainingEmployee assistance programPaid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday PayService recognition and awardsFamily oriented environment with open communication, collaborative atmosphere, and team-building events What You Will Do: As the Driver - CDL, you will handle local and regional deliveries as well as support the warehouse function by pulling orders, assisting customers, restocking the warehouse and loading/unloading trucks. Your Top Accountabilities in the Role: Delivers, loads, and unloads product at customer's location and/or job sites, ensuring safe and timely delivery while providing excellent customer service.Safely operates delivery truck and trailer ensuring consistent compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.Performs regular Pre/Post Trip Inspections and maintains accurate records to ensure compliance with the Department of Transportation (DOT).Stays up to date with local, state, and federal laws as it relates to operation of commercial vehicles.Provides supervisor with consistent communication regarding delivery schedule, route planning, vehicle repair and maintenance. Position Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Prior experience operating a commercial vehicle with a valid CDL, Class A Driver's License required. Prior experience operating an articulating boom crane or other heavy equipment preferred.Functional Skills: Ability to safely drive/operate a commercial truck/trailer and operate a 10-speed manual transmission, has a good understanding of the DOT regulations and is qualified to drive a vehicle in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Regulations. Good math skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, capacities, and time/distance.Certifications: Valid CDL, Class A Driver's License, with a clean driving history. Ability to become forklift certified – as needed per location.Technology Aptitude/Other: Basic computer skills to use mobile device for logging information and tracking time.Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Good verbal/written communication skills to prepare routine reports and correspondence, as well as effectively communicate with internal/external Customers.Core Behaviors: Safety Focused, Customer Driven, Conscientious, Strong Communication Skills, Hard Work Ethic, Ethical Integrity, Teamwork, and Tenacity. Demonstrates a positive can-do attitude, has a friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. Other Important Information: Pay Range: {where required by state law}Reports To: Branch ManagerWork Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours with overtime, including Saturdays.Direct Reports: None; works with other departments as needed.Travel: Local and Regional deliveries.Work Environment: The employee is occasionally exposed to an environment with moderate noise level. The employee regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and may work with material handling equipment, as well as packaged, cement-based products such as grouts, cleaning, and sealing chemicals for tile and stone.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle and feel, and to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
