The Driver is responsible for pulling material, loading, securing, and verifying the load for delivery to our local customers in a flatbed truck.

Function in the Job
Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function
- Set up and operate Class A or B CDL truck and Tractor/Trailer combos.
- Read Bill of Lading.
- May be required to package material for shipment.
- Load truck for local deliveries.
- Daily inspection of truck, in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Operate forklift.
- Inspect load for verification of orders being delivered.
- Delivery of product to customer locations.
- Represent Service Steel Aerospace.
- Fuel truck and adhere to maintenance schedule of vehicle.
- May be required to work OT but not to exceed 12 hours in one shift.
- Must follow all JSA's attached to position.
- Must follow all Safety procedures.
Required Skills
- Clean driving record for the last 3 years minimum.
- Ability to quickly learn multiple functions in a complex industry.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of operating industrial equipment.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Good mathematical skills, including measurements.
- Ability to use and read measuring equipment such as calipers and measuring tapes.
- Ability to operate a crane/forklift.
- Class A or Class B enhanced license
Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $38.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
