Position Summary

The CDL Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to medical appointments, shopping, recreational outings, and other scheduled activities. This position requires excellent customer service, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to assist residents with care and compassion.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, activities, and scheduled outings.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of the bus or assigned vehicle.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and passenger attendance.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and ready for scheduled transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver''s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) Endorsement is required.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company Driver Selection Policy requirements.
• Previous passenger transportation experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read maps or GPS directions and safely navigate local routes.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to resident safety.
• Ability to assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
