Description

At Firth, we're proud to help build New Zealand. As one of the country's leading suppliers of ready-mix concrete, our people play a vital role in supporting residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across the country. We're currently looking for multiple customer-focused Concrete Truck Drivers to join our Dunedin team.

About the Role

This is much more than a driving job. As a Truck Driver, you'll be the face of Firth on customer sites, ensuring quality concrete is delivered safely, on time and to specification. You'll work closely with dispatchers, plant teams and customers to keep projects running smoothly while providing exceptional service every step of the way.

Your day will involve operating and maintaining a concrete truck, completing deliveries across the Dunedin area, carrying out vehicle checks, communicating with customers and ensuring all deliveries meet Firth's quality and safety standards. If you enjoy being out on the road, take pride in your work and value building strong customer relationships, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Bring

• A current Class 4 licence with a safe driving record
• Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good literacy, numeracy and computer skills
• Previous experience driving heavy vehicles, operating in the construction industry or delivering concrete would be an advantage.

What's in it for You?

• Full-time, permanent employment with an industry leader
• Competitive remuneration and employee benefits
• Ongoing training and development opportunities
• Career pathways across Firth and the wider Fletcher Building Group
• A supportive team environment focused on safety and success
• The opportunity to work for a well-respected New Zealand brand
• A role where you'll make a tangible contribution to projects that help build our communities

If you're looking for a stable role with a great team, enjoy delivering excellent customer service and want to be part of a company that helps build New Zealand every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and build your future with Firth!
