LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Component School Districts (Brighton, Fairport, Penfield, Webster, West Irondequoit)

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Diem - Afternoons; For the 2026-2027 School Year

STARTING DATE: September 2026

SALARY RANGE: $42.50 per hour

• Actual Salary is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

DUTIES:

1. Implement the Driver and Traffic Safety Education curriculum.

2. Provide a high level of safety and supervision for students while driving on the road.

3. Assess students' driving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Hold a NYS Driver Education Teacher Certification: MV-283 "Approved" designation with secondary teacher certification or MV-283 with "Restricted" designation.

2. Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

3. Experience teaching Driver Education preferred.

4. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
