Delivery Driver - FLEX
Job Location: American Canyon, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $24-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7am-3:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Delivery Driver? We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused driver to join our team. In this role, you'll operate a Peterbilt 16' flatbed truck to transport materials within a 50-mile radius while assisting with loading and unloading using a forklift. Forklift certification can be completed onsite. If you're a dependable driver with forklift experience and a strong focus on safelty and customer service, we encourage you to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Peterbilt 16' flatbed truck for local deliveries
- Load and unload materials using a forklift
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain delivery records and communication with team members
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
Description of Company:
You'll be supporting a well established plumbing supply company in American Canyon, California.
Experience Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous forklift experience (onsite certification available)
- Comfortable operating a flatbed truck
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
