Position: Driver for Established Construction Company

Location: Weymouth, MA
Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week), 7:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Requirements: 

• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (approx. 100 lbs)

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to join our construction company.  The driver will be responsible for safely transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment between our job sites, warehouse, suppliers, and other locations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles, forklift, and other company vehicles as necessary.
• Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers and job sites.
• Load, secure and unload materials safely.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance and safety issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records.
• Organize receipts per job and deliver to accounting department in timely manner.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Assist the construction crew with general labor duties when not driving.
• Keep the company shop/warehouse space clean and organized.
• Maintain company vehicles ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving for a construction company preferred.
• Ability to safely load and secure construction materials.
• Knowledge of local roads and job sites a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to lift and carry materials as required.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm, with occasional overtime or weekend work depending on project needs.
