Driver for School Food Service

Driver needed for school food service program in the Belleville, NJ area. Monday through Friday, day shift, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. No weekends or holidays. Summers off!Must be reliable and motivated. Responsible for delivering food and supplies throughout the school district, and assisting with food service tasks as needed. The idea applicant is dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team- oriented environment.Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools, and submit to a tuberculosis test.This is a 10-month seasonal position from September to June with the possibility of summer work. Duties to included:Deliver food supplies and satellite lunches to designated school sites daily.Transport catering orders as scheduled.Putting away food and supply orders, cleaning, breaking down boxes, etc.Qualifications:Valid drivers license with clean driving record.Ability to lift and carry food and supply items up to 50lbs.Willingness to assist with general food service duties.Reliable, Punctual, and able to work independently.Previous food service or delivery experience preferred, but not required.Work Environment:This position involves driving, stocking, and cleaning. Apply today!
