This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely load and unload operations, route driving, and delivery of goods while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers within local routes.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Deliver freight to designated locations on time while adhering to route schedules and traffic laws.
• Manage documentation related to deliveries, including delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during driving or loading.
• Maintain a clean driving record and uphold safety protocols at all times during daily operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license.
• Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with confidence and precision.
• Experience handling various types of freight, including refrigerated goods.
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or other loading equipment.
• Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and local traffic laws.
• Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients effectively.
