Description: General Labor Services is seeking a Driver Helper for our client in the Culpeper, VA area:
Job Summary:
Assist the delivery driver in loading, transporting, and unloading building materials such as lumber, millwork, doors, windows, siding, roofing products, and other construction supplies. Help ensure deliveries are accurate, timely, and completed safely.
Responsibilities: Assist with loading and unloading building materials from delivery trucks. Help verify delivery orders and ensure materials match invoices. Secure loads for safe transportation. Carry materials to designated locations at construction sites or customer properties. Communicate with customers and job-site personnel professionally. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness of trucks and work areas. Assist with warehouse duties when not making deliveries.
Physical Requirements: Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance when required. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb throughout the workday.
