Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Driver Helper to support our delivery operations throughout the Hartford area. This position works alongside delivery drivers to ensure shipments are loaded, transported, and delivered accurately while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Help transport products safely to customer locations
- Verify delivery items against shipping documentation
- Secure cargo to ensure safe transportation
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork as required
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with warehouse duties between delivery assignments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work in a physically active environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Compensation & Benefits
Pay:$17–$23 per hour (experience-based)
