Driver Helper I

Job Summary
A leading foodservice distribution company is seeking a Delivery Driver Helper for its Grand Junction, CO facility. In this role, you will assist a professional driver in loading, unloading, and delivering products to customers, ensuring accuracy, safety, and excellent customer service throughout each route.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist driver with loading and unloading trucks by hand, hand truck, or dolly
- Verify merchandise and orders for accuracy
- Deliver orders to customers in a timely, professional manner
- Climb in and out of trailers as needed
- Work in both hot and cold environments, including refrigerated areas
- Interact professionally with customers and staff
- Follow safe work practices at all times

Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or physical labor experience
- Ability to lift up to 90 lbs consistently
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic math skills to count money and track merchandise
- Strong customer interaction and communication skills
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Willingness to work early morning shifts (as early as 2:00 AM)

Preferred Qualifications
- 0-3 years of related warehouse or delivery support experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment

About the Role
This is a full-time, weekly-paid contract position based in Grand Junction, CO. Schedule is Monday through Saturday, with shifts potentially starting as early as 2:00 AM. Candidates should expect to work 50+ hours per week; this is a consistent, non-optional schedule commitment. No travel is required for this position.
