Job Title: CDL Driver
Location: Horseheads NY 14845
Duration: 12+ Months
Per Diem: $15/day
Rotation: 15 days on 6 days off
Summary:
The Driver is responsible for driving a vehicle. Adhere to all driving related safety procedures.
Budget and Compensation
Bonuses:- Air slide runs
- Silo moves (up to 2–3 bonuses/day)
- Hotshot deliveries
- Reimbursable Expenses:
- Coverall laundry ($20/rotation)
- Checked baggage and airport parking
- Hazmat fingerprinting
- Business-related vehicle expenses (e.g., oil)
- Bonus are paid out $50 per run (two per day)
- $30 per run (two per day )
- Min $100 bonus per day
- Needs CDL permit with NO restrictions
- Open to working on the Field if needed
- $15 Per Diem, Travel and Housing Provided
Key Responsibilities
Operate various vehicles including:- Tractor trailer units
- Body load units
- 550s with gooseneck trailers
- Hook up hoses, run air slide controls, strap loads
- Hotshot pallets of chemicals between districts
- May assist equipment operators when needed
- Not a “no-touch” driving role — physical involvement is required
Experience and Skills- Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles
- (Automatic transmission restrictions disqualify candidates due to limited availability of automatic trucks)

- No minimum years of experience required but prefer oil & gas/driver experience
License and Certification Requirements- Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions
- Air brakes endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Manual transmission capability required
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not required
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
Travel Requirements- Travel required; housing and flights provided
- Local candidates preferred
- For rotator drivers- When possible client will assign worker with light vehicle to drive from hotel to work, car pooling, or a Client driver will mover worker around.
Work Environment- Based in Horseheads, NY
- Field/onshore, heavy industrial environment
- Hands-on, physically active role
Training- Conducted in Kellyville:
- NEST
- HVT
- QUEST certifications
- Additional in-house and site-specific safety training
- Shadowing with experienced drivers before solo assignments
Shift/Hours- Rotation: 15 days on / 6 days off
- Hours: Up to 14 hours/day, occasionally 16 hours/day
- Typically work up to 70 hours/week, followed by a DOT reset
- Weekly Average: 70–80 hours/week
Physical Demands
Must be able to:- Strap loads
- Hook up hoses
- Operate trailer and body load units
- Not a sedentary or “drive-only” role
Safety- DOT reset compliance required
- Emergency evacuation and site-specific safety training included

- No formal driving test
