Safely transport clients to and from the day center in the morning and afternoon.
Provide transportation to and from community outings, appointments, or special events.
Ensure the vehicle is maintained, clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, using proper safety procedures and equipment (e.g., lifts, seatbelts, walkers)
Client Engagement:
Interact warmly and respectfully with all clients.
Participate in activities, games, and conversations while at the center.
Support clients’ needs with patience and attentiveness, promoting dignity and engagement.
Center Support Duties:
Help maintain cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, restrooms, and dining areas.
Assist with setup and breakdown of activities as needed.
Follow all safety and health protocols in compliance with center guidelines.
Communicate any concerns regarding client wellbeing or behavior to the appropriate staff.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain (preferred).
Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities (preferred).
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine care for people.
Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
Must pass background checks
Operates both indoors and in a vehicle throughout the day.
Requires physical activity including sitting, standing, walking, light lifting, and assisting individuals.
Work hours: Monday-Friday 8am-3:30pm
