Driver Logistics Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Driver Logistics Coordinator to oversee vehicle transportation logistics between our dealership locations. This position is responsible for coordinating drivers, scheduling vehicle transfers, tracking transportation activity, and ensuring vehicles arrive safely and on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and enjoys solving logistical challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate vehicle transportation between dealership locations, auctions, vendors, and customers
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers based on daily transportation needs and priorities
  • Monitor vehicle movement and maintain accurate transportation records
  • Communicate with dealership managers regarding vehicle transfer requests and timelines
  • Ensure drivers have all necessary information, paperwork, and instructions for assignments
  • Track the status of vehicle deliveries and pickups and provide updates as needed
  • Assist with dealer trades and inventory transfers
  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency and reduce delays
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Support dealership operations through effective planning and communication

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation coordination, automotive operations, or a related field is preferred
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Schedule

  • Full-time salaried position
  • Monday through Saturday
  • Hours may vary based on transportation demands, dealership needs, and business operations
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required
