We are a growing manufacturing company that will play a crucial part in bringing innovative and life changing products to life.POSITION OVERVIEW:Merrimack Manufacturing LLC is seeking a reliable and energetic Material Handler to support production, inventory, and delivery operations. This role is responsible for the accurate movement, transaction, staging, and control of materials to and from the production floor, as well as the safe and timely delivery of products and materials to customers and other designated locations. The Material Handler ensures inventory is properly received, transacted in the ERP system, and issued to production in alignment with shop orders and demand, while also representing the company professionally during deliveries. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, prioritizes safety and accuracy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where dependable service and attention to detail are essential.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products across designated routes
• Load and unload using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
• Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine inspections before and after each shift
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving to ensure safe deliveries at all times
• Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the route
• Assist with warehouse tasks when needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock for efficient dispatch

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial route/delivery experience and experience operating box trucks or manual-transmission vehicles preferred
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, and medical device regulatory requirements preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and provide direction to team members in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, perform a variety of tasks, and respond effectively to unexpected situations
• Warehouse experience, including use of forklifts and pallet jacks, preferred
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, handling materials/tools, and moving inventory
• Ability to meet required vision and PPE requirements and demonstrate strong comprehension and numerical skills

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
