About the Role:Join TRI TECHNOLOGIES INC as a Driver and be a vital part of our team in Mount Vernon, NY.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions.
Requirements:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools is a plus.
