Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Solo Miles: Pay 0.43 per Mile with 2350 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops: Pay 13.50 per Stop with 31 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: 50.00 per night with 3 nights per Week
• Overnights: For Route in Ryder Booked Hotel

Schedule Details

• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (NO WEEKENDS)
• Start Time: 600 AM

Route & Deliveries

• Deliver: SOLO To TX, OK, MO, KS
• Route: Regional
• Trailer Type: Box Truck 26

Equipment

• Lift Gate
• Forklift
• Glass Dolly & Glass suction cups

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful.

Freight & Trucks

• Freight: Heavy Touch - Glass Doors
• Trucks: 36 months or newer
• Maintenance: Include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck)
• 6 Months experience in the past 3 years OR
• 2 years experience within the last 5 years OR
• 5 years experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check (including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
