What You'll Do

Lead Driver Orientation

• Welcome and prepare new drivers for success from day one
• Deliver engaging safety, DOT, and operational training sessions
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, testing, and schedules
• Provide hands-on training in areas like cargo securement, crane operations, and
• Ensure all driver files and documentation are accurate and compliant

Power Up Training with Simulation

• Run immersive driver simulation training sessions
• Coach drivers through real-world scenarios in a safe, controlled environment
• Evaluate performance and provide meaningful feedback
• Track progress and generate training reports
• Troubleshoot and maintain cutting-edge Virage simulation equipment
• Build strong relationships with drivers and create a positive learning experience
• Collaborate with team members to improve training programs

What You Bring

Required

• Must have Active CDL-A with tractor-trailer driving experience
• Strong communication skills-you can teach, coach, and connect
• Comfortable with technology and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A passion for safety and driver development

Preferred

• Previous experience leading training or facilitating groups
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Background in heavy haul or cargo securement
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on equipment

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs regularly (80 lbs occasionally)
• Must be able to climb on equipment. Comfortable in both office and outside training environments
• Ability to walk distances in the training yard

Compensation and Benefits

• The anticipated starting base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $72,500 DOE; full salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
