CDL Delivery + Customer VMI | 2-Year Field Assignment | Housing Allowance | Per Diem

Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking a Project Fulfillment Coordinator (CDL) to support major customer projects through commercial delivery, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and field service.

This is a hands-on position responsible for safely delivering materials, replenishing customer VMI inventory, maintaining accurate records, and working directly with customer contacts to ensure materials are available when needed.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver materials to customer locations and jobsites.
• Complete vehicle inspections, load securement, delivery documentation, and proof of delivery.
• Plan routes and safely load/unload materials using approved equipment and customer procedures.
• Visit customer VMI locations to scan, count, replenish, and organize inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, excess, damaged materials, and labeling issues.
• Communicate with customer contacts, sales teams, and field operations regarding material needs.
• Complete ERP, mobile scanning, VMI, mileage, fuel, and vehicle documentation.
• Report delivery exceptions, shortages, damage, accidents, or customer concerns promptly.
• Process returns and undelivered or excess materials.
• Support staging, loading, inventory counts, and yard operations when not on route.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle, scanner, PPE, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in customer-site orientations, safety meetings, project setup, and demobilization.

What You Bring

• Valid Class B CDL or higher required.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet company, insurance, DOT, and customer requirements.
• Commercial delivery, route service, VMI, construction-site delivery, material handling, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to use mobile devices, scanners, GPS, electronic logs, and ERP/VMI systems.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected with management, sales, and field teams.
• Forklift, Moffett, telehandler, or pallet-jack experience is a plus.
• Experience around construction, industrial, energy, mining, semiconductor, or data-center sites is preferred.
• OSHA 30 required within 90 days; company sponsored.

Field Assignment & Compensation

This is an approximately 2-year field assignment with recurring customer-site travel. The assignment may extend beyond two years and may provide opportunities to move to another project or transition into a permanent Copper State branch, operations, or related role.

Work Environment

This position involves regular driving and customer-site work in varying weather conditions and active construction or industrial environments. The role requires frequent entering and exiting of the vehicle, walking on uneven surfaces, material handling, load securement, and use of delivery/material-handling equipment.

Variable start times, weekends, route changes, and extended project hours may be required based on customer and project needs.
