Driver's Assistant

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dependable Driver's Assistant to join its team in Danbury, CT. This full-time, on-site position supports daily delivery operations by assisting with loading, transporting, and delivering products while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering products safely and efficiently.
• Verify delivery orders for accuracy before and after deliveries.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with warehouse operations and inventory handling as needed.
• Follow delivery schedules, company procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support daily operational needs and collaborate with team members.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
  

Compensation & Benefits

• $17–$20 per hour, based on experience.
• Full-time, Monday – Friday, 5am start time, Sunday 9am – 12pm schedule.
