Responsibilities

• Manage driver check-in/out, shipment documentation, and truck flow to ensure safe and efficient operations at the facility.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, scheduling, and carrier compliance using WMS and CarrierPoint systems.
• Communicate with transportation planners regarding no-shows, rescheduling, and load details.
• Ensure all truck appointments are confirmed, loads are properly documented, and paperwork is completed accurately.
• Manage the driver experience by greeting drivers cordially, monitoring wait times, maintaining the driver breakroom, and promoting positive interactions.
• Answer phone inquiries, assist with scheduling, and support warehouse flow and control activities.
• Respond to special projects, process order changes, and support shipping initiatives as needed.
• Maintain technical proficiency with Google Suite, ERP systems, WMS RF, and transportation management systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite, ERP systems (PS or SAP), Inventory Management, and Transport Management Systems (Carrier Point, Oracle).
• Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS – RF).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to walk through warehouse and outside yard as needed for job duties.
