Driver / Shop & Office Assistant
Armature Motor & Pump is seeking a dependable and motivated Driver / Shop & Office Assistant to join our team.
Since 1989, we have specialized in electric motor repair, pump repair, and sales. We are a family-owned and operated business that takes pride in providing quality work and dependable service to our customers.
Position Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver customer jobs, motors, pumps, and parts
Load, unload, and safely transport equipment
Handle shipping and receiving
Receive and organize incoming parts and materials / Stock and organize shop inventory and supplies
Work with Technicians for ordering parts
Assist with walk-in customers and customer service
Write up customer job tickets and assist with work orders
Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers as needed
Help keep the shop, warehouse, and work areas organized
Assist other team members with general shop and office duties as needed
Qualifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
General knowledge of mechanical/electrical components is preferred
Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to safely lift and move motors, pumps, parts, and other equipment
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn
Comfortable working in both a shop and office environment
Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic
This is a hands-on position in a small business where everyone plays an important role. We are looking for someone dependable who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, and wants the opportunity to grow with our company.
