Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Yard / Dump Truck / Skid Steer Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized and safe yard, operating a skid steer and dump truck, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with general yard and material-handling duties.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, reliable, comfortable operating heavy equipment, and willing to perform a variety of physical tasks throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Operate a dump truck to transport and move materials.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials around the yard.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
• Perform general yard maintenance and other physical labor as needed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, drivers, and supervisors.
• Properly secure materials and equipment when required.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a skid steer and dump truck preferred.
• Experience working in a yard, construction, landscaping, aggregate, or similar environment is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
