Role Description This full-time, on-site Driver / Technician role is based in St. Louis, MO. The Driver / Technician safely operates company vehicles to provide assisted transportation services for passengers with varying mobility needs, including wheelchair and stretcher transports. Daily responsibilities include vehicle inspections, safe loading and unloading of passengers, navigation to scheduled destinations, and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations. The role requires maintaining clear communication with dispatch, health care facilities, and passengers, as well as documenting trips and completing required reports. The Driver / Technician also supports basic equipment checks and cleanliness of vehicles to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful experience for every passenger.

Qualifications

•        Valid driver's license

\n

•        Clean driving record

\n

•        Ability to pass a background check and drug test

\n

•        Excellent communication skills

\n

•        Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes

\n

•        Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

\n

•        Drivers must be proficient using text, phone, and GPS applications on a smart mobile phone.

\n

While drivers may be required to push more during their daily work requirements, to qualify for the position, all drivers must be able to push a minimum weight of 250lbs and lift a minimum weight of 50lbs.
