Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily loading and unloading of products.
- Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
- Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
- Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
- Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
- Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
- Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
- Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
- Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
- Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic. •Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck. •Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
- Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
- A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states)
- 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may
require working extra hours on occasion.
