You will stage and load delivery trucks at the warehouse, safely transport home furnishings across local routes, carefully maneuver pieces into customer residences, and provide professional on-site assembly and setup. Description for Furniture Delivery Driver & Assembler:
- Safely operate company delivery box trucks and transit vehicles on scheduled residential and commercial delivery routes.
- Provide white-glove delivery: carefully offload, maneuver, and place heavy furniture, case goods, upholstery, and bedding into customer homes with zero property or product damage.
- Perform on-site assembly, hardware fastening, and placement of furniture using basic hand tools, cordless drills, and hex keys according to manufacturer specifications.
- Stage, inspect, pad, wrap, and tie down outbound furniture loads within the warehouse and inside delivery trucks to prevent transit damage.
- Assist with warehouse operations, receiving incoming freight, stock staging, merchandise tagging, and shipping preparation.
- Provide polished, polite, and respectful customer service inside client homes; collect delivery signatures and note any exceptions cleanly.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized delivery cab and cargo bay.

- Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00 / hour + Bi-Weekly Performance Bonuses after hire!
- Schedule: Full-Time Tuesday – Saturday (Enjoy consistent 2-day consecutive weekends with Sunday & Monday OFF!).
- Shift Hours: Starts promptly at 8:00 AM until daily routes and client deliveries are wrapped up.
- Location: Kalama, WA warehouse and showroom (servicing Cowlitz, Clark, and surrounding counties).
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire career opportunity with long-term stability.
Requirements for Furniture Delivery Driver & Assembler:
- Driver's License & Record: Valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record (MVR) to operate company delivery vehicles.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: High-stamina role requiring the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and maneuver 75+ lbs unassisted (and heavier loads with a delivery partner) using shoulder dollies, hand trucks, and ramps.
- Tool & Assembly Aptitude: Comfortable using basic hand and power tools to assemble beds, dining sets, sectionals, and cabinetry.
- Customer Service Mindset: Respectful, courteous attitude and neat professional appearance when entering customer residences.
- Comfortable navigating varied environments: warehouse floors, weather elements during loading, and multi-story customer homes.
- Exceptional history of morning punctuality, daily attendance, and dependable team communication.
