Drivers/Movers

We have been asked by a client in Westfield, IN to help them find Drivers/Movers. In this role, you will drive moving trucks to safely transport customers' belongings, load and unload furniture and household goods, pack items for transport, and provide excellent customer service during residential and commercial moves. You will work as part of a professional team to ensure moves are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay starts at $24.00 per hour
• Weekend Driver pay available up to $29.00 per hour
• Tips average $50–$200 per job, with top performers earning substantially more in monthly tip income
• Sign-on bonus for drivers
• Additional earning potential through performance bonuses
• The work schedule will vary depending on the daily schedule, and you may start later in the day and work into the evening. Or start early and wrap up early. 
• Occasionally a big job will require extended days.

What will you do as a Driver/Mover?

• Safely operate company vehicles during residential and commercial moves
• Load, unload, and transport furniture, appliances, boxes, and other customer
• Pack and protect customer items to prevent damage during transportation
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed
• Secure loads properly and follow safe transportation procedures
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the moving process
• Work effectively with team members to complete moves efficiently and safely
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company

What qualifications will you have as a Driver/Mover?

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to obtain and pass Indiana For-Hire endorsement requirements
• Working smartphone required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting throughout the day
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable attendance and dependable work habits
• Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload furniture and household goods
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to protecting customer property
