DROP FORGE AND IMPACTOR OPERATORS -1ST SHIFT

Ken Forging, Inc. a manufacture of forged industrial hardware is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Drop Forge Hammer and Impactor Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty drop forge hammers or impactors to shape and form metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to producing high-quality parts essential for various industrial applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work n a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met.

Duties

• Operate drop forge hammers and impactors safely and efficiently to produce metal parts according to specifications
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal operation
• Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet all dimensional and surface finish requirements
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, reporting any issues promptly to maintenance teams
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as drop forge hammers, impactors, or similar machinery in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, hot temperatures, standing for extended periods and handling heavy materials
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
