Drop In Coach (Relief)

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to come join our team as a Drop In Coach (Relief) at Evolution Independent Living (IL)! We are an independent living program that houses young individuals from 18-24 years old in small efficiency-type apartments or shared-living housing throughout the Metro, Boston, Central, Northeast and Southeast DCF regions.

Schedule: This position is relief. Flexible hours, 8 - 15 per week.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.  This range may be modified in the future.  

JRI Provides The Training So That: 

• YOU will be able to provide support for the individuals we serve by “dropping in” in their independent apartment setting to help ensure compliance with program rules
• YOU will be able to provide crisis management if there were to be a crisis during a visit to one of the individuals we serve.
• YOU will be able to help maintain a safe independent living apartment by providing searches for contraband that are not allowed in our programs.

Requirements: 

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with older youth and young adults in a mental health setting and trauma-informed care is preferred.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required. 
• Must have an active driver’s license. 
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
