A premier global law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Drug Pricing Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology companies, life sciences organizations, and healthcare clients on sophisticated drug pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare regulatory matters.
• 3–6 years of healthcare regulatory, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or FDA-related experience gained at a sophisticated law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department
• Experience advising pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology companies, medical device companies, healthcare providers, and other life sciences organizations
• Experience counseling clients regarding drug pricing, government reimbursement programs, pharmaceutical compliance, and healthcare regulatory matters
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, the 340B Drug Pricing Program, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B and Part D reimbursement, and other federal healthcare programs is preferred
• Experience responding to government investigations, audits, regulatory inquiries, and compliance reviews
• Experience supporting corporate transactions, due diligence, product commercialization, and regulatory strategy involving life sciences companies is a plus
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated regulatory matters while maintaining significant client interaction
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• DC bar admission required or ability to become admitted
