Dry Gas Seal Engineer

Everllence Hellas is looking for a motivated Dry Gas Seal Engineer to join our engineering team in Piraeus.

In this role, you will support the development and application of Dry Gas Seal systems for turbomachinery and compressor installations. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and customers, you will contribute to engineering studies, technical evaluations, simulations, and system optimization activities.

This role is well suited for engineers with experience in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, compressors, or related process systems who are interested in developing specialized expertise in Dry Gas Seal technology.

What you will be doing

• Perform engineering calculations related to Dry Gas Seal systems for various operating conditions, including start-up, shutdown, settle-out and standstill scenarios.
• Support dynamic simulations and engineering studies for compressor and turbomachinery applications.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, engineering documentation and system calculations.
• Participate in technical evaluations of supplier proposals and component selection.
• Provide technical support and clarification during project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable and optimized system solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions with suppliers and customers when required.
• Support commissioning, testing activities and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) when applicable.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering methodologies, standards and department specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting and technical investigations related to Dry Gas Seal systems when required.

Who you are

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Process Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience within turbomachinery, rotating equipment, compressors, process systems or similar industrial applications.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics principles.
• Experience performing engineering calculations, simulations, technical evaluations or system studies.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, P&IDs and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Experience with Dry Gas Seal systems is considered an advantage but is not required.
• Experience with dynamic simulation tools, API standards, or supplier technical evaluations is considered an advantage.
• Fluent English; Greek and/or German are considered advantages.
