Dryer Production Operator
This position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating shift schedule, with 12-hour shifts rotating between day and night shifts. You will be expected to help cover shifts for others on vacation or sick.
Job Summary
Responsible for operating dryers and related equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality production. This role follows strict safety and food safety standards and reports to the department supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment
- Monitor production processes and perform basic lab testing
- Collect samples and ensure product quality standards
- Support packaging and cleaning operations
- Monitor critical control points and follow safety procedures
- Report equipment issues and communicate with team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years Manufacturing or food production experience required
- Basic computer and math skills. Must be able to use MS Word and MS Excel
- Must be able to perform math calculations, percentages, and ratios.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour rotating shifts
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and forklift certification
- Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment with varying temperatures
Starting pay range from $21 an up depending on experience and shift differential.
