We are seeking an experienced Drywall Hanger/Taper to support commercial and residential construction projects. This position is responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall while maintaining high standards for quality and jobsite safety.
Responsibilities
Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
Secure drywall to wood or metal framing.
Apply joint tape, joint compound, and finishing coats.
Sand and smooth finished surfaces to prepare them for paint.
Install corner bead and finish inside and outside corners.
Repair damaged drywall, cracks, holes, and surface imperfections.
Read measurements, layouts, and basic construction plans.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
Coordinate effectively with supervisors and other trades.
