A Labor Drywaller is responsible for preparing and applying drywall materials to interior walls and ceilings in residential or commercial construction projects. The role involves measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing drywall panels to ensure smooth, durable surfaces ready for painting or wallpapering. This position requires physical stamina and precision to execute quality wall finishing and to support the overall construction and renovation teams.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut drywall panels to fit walls, ceilings, and corners accurately
• Install drywall sheets by fastening them to wall studs and ceiling joists
• Tape, mud, and sand drywall joints to create smooth, even surfaces
• Repair minor drywall defects and holes
• Prepare work areas by protecting floors and furniture from dust and debris
• Collaborate with construction team members to meet project deadlines
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow safety guidelines to minimize risks on the job site
