This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer with in-depth knowledge of wireless protocol dynamics and extensive experience in developing solutions through real-time Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems. The successful candidate will work independently, spearheading innovative research and development efforts in protocol processing. Key responsibilities include crafting and implementing engineering strategies to capture, analyze, and utilize RF signals, employing skills in digital communication methodologies such as detection and demodulation. Mastery of C/C++ and Python, along with a solid grounding in software development for the Intelligence and Defense sectors, is essential. Proficiency in code management, particularly using Git, and exceptional communication skills, are crucial. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Additional skills such as familiarity with SDR technology, XMIDAS, and geolocation techniques are highly desirable, as is experience managing sophisticated RF environments. Knowledge of multi-threaded signal processing in Python/C++ on Linux hosts, and the capability to thrive within distributed teams, further bolster candidacy.
A TS/SCI Clearance is mandatory for this position.
