Description: Starting Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour for full time and part time; $17.00 per hour for back up Schedule of Hours: - positions available as follows: 9 am-9 pm every Sunday; 9pm-9am every Saturday; FT 36 hours a week 9 pm-9am The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for a variety of duties related to the provision of overall support and care for individuals receiving services from Skill Creations, Inc. Those that Skill Creations Inc. serves in this capacity are individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and secondary mental health/substance abuse issues. The DSP works in the Emergent Need Respite Center Facility and/or in the community as scheduled, providing one-to-one or group care according to the specific needs of the individuals and their plan(s) of care. The Direct Support Professional may assist with personal care, behavioral support, medication administration, job coaching and assistance and/or independent living skills.
