DSP - Direct Support Professional

Perfect Placement Home Care LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our growing team in Cleveland, OH. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support community integration by accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and outings
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
• Foster independence and skill-building through positive reinforcement and encouragement
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Genuine compassion and commitment to person-centered care
